Notes on the distribution:

• 3.3m exclusively-online enrollments are at universities with over 10,000 exclusively-online students, and
• 3.7m exclusively-online enrollments are at universities with 1,000-9,999 exclusively-online students, and
• 0.5m exclusively-online enrollments are at universities with 1-999 exclusively-online students

Some other quick observations:

• This is data for the 2022-23 year, and includes both undergraduates and grad students
• 84 are public universities (69%), 22 are private nonprofits (18%), and 16 are for-profits (13%)
• Harvard makes an appearance: Harvard reported 11,449 exclusively-online enrollments (Harvard Division of Continuing Ed, Harvard Extension School)
